Man or Astro-Man? landed on earth in the early 90’s, with their Surf Rock instrumental Space Oddesy debut album called “Is It…Man or Astroman?”.  Members of Man or Astro-Man? (Star Crunch (aka Brian Causey) on guitar and sometimes vocals, Birdstuff (aka Brian Teasley) on drums and Coco the Electronic Monkey Wizard (aka Robert DelBueno) on bass and electronics) have said in various interviews, they are extraterrestrials that have been sent to earth to Rock.  The band has dedicated their career in creating (most, if not all) songs, about space and the unknown. The songs are built on pure raw energy, an energy that translates perfectly onto their sound.

Man or Astro-Man’s career spreads from 1993 -2001; they have released 8 full length albums, countless Singles/EPs,  compilations, splits and live performances. They are one of those Indie/Underground bands that not many people know about, but once you listen to them, you are immediately hooked.

Here is my favorite song and video called “Theme From Eeviac” from their album “Eeviac”

  1. They are intelligent. They are smarter than the most up-to-date supercomputers, we cannot underestimate them.
